Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, Chairman of the National Media Office and Chairman of the UAE Media Council, held a series of high-level meetings in London with prominent figures from the international television and film industry.

The discussions centred on fostering strategic partnerships in drama and film production, to amplify Emirati storytelling on global platforms and empower national talent.

Key areas of focus included collaboration on production projects, knowledge exchange, and training initiatives in creative disciplines such as scriptwriting, directing, production, and narrative development. The talks also explored ways to leverage global best practices to support the growth of the UAE’s media ecosystem.

Al Hamed said the meetings are part of a broader effort to strengthen international cooperation and attract top-tier production opportunities to the UAE.

“These meetings aim to expand international cooperation and attract high-quality production projects that showcase the UAE to the world,” he noted, adding that this aligns with the leadership’s vision of creative industries as a key driver of economic growth.

He emphasised that the UAE offers an attractive environment for creative investment, underpinned by a robust media infrastructure designed to enable innovation and global collaboration.
