The 22nd edition of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) opens tomorrow, promising the largest showcase in its history since the event’s inception in 2003.
Running from August 30 to September 7, 2025, at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi, the exhibition will span 92,000 square metres—a 7% increase from last year—and feature participation from 68 countries, including 11 newcomers. Organised by ADNEC Group in cooperation with the Emirates Falconers’ Club, the nine-day event is held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Falconers’ Club.
Global Platform for Heritage and Innovation
Billed as the largest event of its kind in the MENA region, ADIHEX 2025 will highlight the UAE’s deep-rooted traditions in falconry, equestrianism, hunting, fishing, and outdoor sports while showcasing the latest global equipment and technologies.
Visitors will have the opportunity to attend falconry auctions, camel racing, equestrian shows, and participate in seminars, competitions, and cultural discussions. This year’s edition introduces four new sectors:
- Camel Sector – celebrating the region’s heritage
- Arabian Saluki Sector – honouring the cultural significance of the breed
- Knives Sector – showcasing traditional hunting knives
- Souq Sector – featuring traditional crafts and artisanal products
Focus on Sustainability
Sustainable hunting practices will be a key theme, with exhibitors spotlighting innovations that support conservation and wildlife protection. The UAE’s commitment to preserving biodiversity and upholding traditional yet responsible hunting practices will be a central focus of the agenda.
Event Infrastructure
The ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi has implemented a comprehensive plan to ensure a smooth visitor flow, convenient parking, and robust security measures. With several hotels located within walking distance, the venue is prepared to welcome international exhibitors, delegates, and visitors.
Capital Events, ADNEC’s event management arm, and Capital 360 Event Experiences are collaborating with the Emirates Falconers’ Club to deliver production, stand builds, and world-class event execution.
