In 2015, Hitesh Sharma transformed a struggling catering service into what is now Taste Studio, a thriving catering company redefining corporate and event dining in the UAE. Today, the brand serves over 1,500 meals daily to clients such as Boston Consulting Group, Jotun Group, DP World, UD Trucks, Hyundai Mobis, and The Agenda, prepared from a 12,000 sqm state-of-the-art kitchen.
Hitesh’s entrepreneurial journey began with early exposure to his family’s restaurant business, followed by ventures in food trading and event management. Setbacks and financial hurdles did not deter him. Instead, they sharpened his resilience and drive, ultimately leading him to acquire a small catering service and turn it into a dynamic enterprise.
Under his leadership, Taste Studio has grown threefold, building a reputation for precision, dependability, and innovation in corporate catering. Its services span corporate luncheons, training buffets, brand activations, cocktail parties, weddings, and private gatherings, all tailored with premium multi-cuisine menus and live cooking experiences.
Community engagement is a defining pillar of the brand. During Ramadan, Taste Studio collaborates with Emirates Red Crescent, serving 1,000 meals daily to labourers, an initiative that has continued for six years. Hitesh has also embedded sustainability at the core of operations, deploying strict quantity control and database management to minimize food waste while ensuring efficient service.
Hitesh’s philosophy of “attention to outcome” rather than micromanagement has empowered his team to embrace delegation, innovation, and automation. This approach has not only streamlined operations but also positioned Taste Studio as a scalable model for the region’s catering industry.
Beyond large-scale catering, Taste Studio operates a modern bistro within Dubai Heights Academy, offering fresh coffee, meals, and takeaway options, as well as a Desktop Lunch program delivering curated weekly menus across Dubai.
