Rain, Cooler Weather Forecast Across UAE From Friday: NCM

The UAE is set to experience a shift in weather conditions starting Friday, October 10, through Tuesday, October 14, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). The change comes as a surface low-pressure system moving up from the south meets an upper-level low-pressure front carrying colder, humid air.

As a result, light to moderate rainfall is expected across much of the country, with some areas seeing heavier showers at intervals. The northern and eastern regions will be primarily affected, though the rain may extend to inland and western parts as well. There’s also a slight chance of hail in isolated locations.

Temperatures are forecast to dip during this period, bringing a noticeable cool-down. Winds will initially blow from the southeast and northeast, before shifting to the northwest. While mostly moderate, gusts could strengthen at times, stirring up dust and sand in exposed areas.

Over water, the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman are expected to see slight to moderate waves, becoming rough occasionally under cloud cover.

Residents are advised to stay updated with official weather alerts and take necessary precautions during unstable weather conditions.
