His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has issued an Emiri Decree approving the general organisational structure of the Department of Municipal Affairs.
The decree stipulates the formal endorsement of the department’s general organisational structure and assigns the Executive Council the responsibility to issue subsequent resolutions, which include the following:
- Approving the comprehensive organisational structure of the Department of Municipal Affairs and the necessary resolutions to implement the decree. This will include the endorsement of job descriptions corresponding to the functions of the organisational units within the department, in alignment with their respective areas of responsibility.
- The establishment, merger, or dissolution of any organisational units within the departments specified in the approved general organisational structure.
