Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) regulated wealth management and investment platform, CUSP, declared its first official opening in the United Arab Emirates.

The platform presents a hybrid advisory model that integrates AI-guided portfolio optimisation and human financial advisor services at an institutional-grade wealth management service at a 0.75 percent annual fee, a fraction of traditional private banking costs, but accessible to all investors.

The launch fills a long-standing market gap that has been long standing in the UAE, where professional wealth management has long been expected to need minimum investments of $200,000 or more and charge portfolio management fees of over 2 percent a year.

CUSP Wealth eliminates these obstacles by enabling investors to begin with as little as $25; anyone can build their wealth with transparency, no matter the scale of their portfolio.

Speaking on the launch, Ramesh Murthy, Senior Executive Officer at CUSP with 32+ years in banking and finance, said, “For too long, professional wealth management in the region was a privilege for the few. We built CUSP to challenge the status quo and redefine the WealthTech landscape in the GCC. By leveraging technology, we don’t just lower fees; we provide the same level of sophistication, such as optimised risk-adjusted portfolios and direct indexing, that was previously reserved for ultra-high-net-worth individuals.”

The platform of CUSP is based on artificial intelligence to present users with personalized portfolio building and continuous optimization, and human supervision is always present at any time through the ability to access licensed financial advisors.

DFSA regulates the company with reference number F011420 and makes sure that the company complies with international financial standards.

The introduction places CUSP in the larger context of the UAE to become a digital financial hub in the world. The fact that the regulatory framework of the platform is under the DFSA, which is internationally known to have strict standards, is evidence of the intention of the government to promote innovation without compromising investor protection.

In contrast to the limited investment choices of robo-advisors or the high minimums of conventional private banks, CUSP offers access to institutional-quality strategies such as direct indexing and portfolio optimization.

These advanced wealth management techniques permit a new benchmark of wealth management. CUSP is available on both iOS and Android, and the process of opening an account and verifying it is fully done within the application.
