Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel Dubai proudly marks the reopening of Tenggara, its signature Southeast Asian restaurant, following an extensive renovation that ushers in a fresh chapter for one of the hotel’s most beloved dining destinations.
After a carefully planned makeover that began in August 2025, Tenggara returns with a refreshed identity featuring elevated interiors, thoughtful design details, and an enhanced culinary experience. The redesign honours the spirit of Southeast Asia while blending contemporary elegance, creating a space where comfort, culture, and craftsmanship meet.
Inspired by Peranakan culture, a fusion of Chinese and Malay traditions, Tenggara’s updated interiors strike a balance between heritage and modernity. Reimagined Peranakan tile motifs feature across the flooring and select walls in a soft, refined palette. Glass partitions maintain an open, light-filled atmosphere while subtly creating intimate dining zones.
Natural textures, leaf-inspired accents, and metallic gold finishes add warmth and understated luxury, while an off-white feature wall adorned with dry florals serves as a calming focal point. Soft lighting and metallic highlights evoke the gentle influence of the moon and stars, while plush seating encourages relaxed, extended dining.
At the heart of the reopening is an expanded à la carte menu celebrating the culinary richness of Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Hong Kong, and beyond. Guests can enjoy signature favourites such as Laksa Lemak, Hainanese Chicken Rice, Nasi Lemak Ayam Rendang, Peking Duck, and a curated dim sum selection, alongside new creations that highlight authentic regional flavours with modern finesse. The beverage programme now features classic Asian refreshments, specialty teas, artisanal mocktails, and cocktails inspired by Southeast Asian ingredients.
Commenting on the reopening, Mr. Michael Chan, General Manager at Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel Dubai, said: “Tenggara’s transformation reflects our commitment to evolving with our guests while staying true to the soul of what makes the restaurant special. We wanted to create a space that feels familiar yet revitalised. A place where diners can reconnect with the flavours they love whilst discovering exciting new dishes. It represents our belief that innovation and consistency can beautifully co-exist.”
During the renovation, Tenggara continued serving guests through other hotel outlets, highlighting the restaurant’s loyal following and its key role within the property’s dining landscape. With the reopening, diners can now return to the familiar venue, refreshed and inviting, offering a thoughtful, renewed experience.
Whether for an intimate dinner, a social gathering, or a culinary journey through Asia’s vibrant food cultures, Tenggara once again welcomes guests to enjoy its celebrated hospitality, warmth, and generous flavours in the heart of Dubai.
