Gold Climbs 1.2% As Dollar Weakens

Gold climbed to a more than three-week high on Monday as the dollar weakened.

Spot gold advanced 1.2 percent to $5,163.60 per ounce by 02:10 GMT, reaching its highest level in over three weeks.

U.S. gold futures for April delivery rose 2 percent to $5,184.90.

Spot silver gained 3.1 percent to $87.10 per ounce, marking a more than two-week high.

Spot platinum increased 1.2 percent to $2,182.60 per ounce, while palladium edged up 0.5 percent to $1,753.75.
