Omar Obaid Alhesan Alshamsi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, received the credentials of ZENG Jixin, the newly appointed Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the United Arab Emirates.
At the start of the meeting, Alshamsi welcomed the new Ambassador and wished him success in fulfilling his diplomatic duties. He highlighted that the relationship between the United Arab Emirates and the People’s Republic of China is a distinguished example of positive and fruitful strategic cooperation and partnership. This relationship, he noted, is built on solid foundations of mutual understanding and support, advancing both countries’ development visions and contributing to comprehensive development and sustainable economic prosperity.
ZENG Jixin, for his part, expressed pride in representing China in the UAE and praised the strong and distinguished ties between the two countries across multiple areas of mutual interest. He also stressed the shared commitment to further strengthening this partnership in ways that serve common interests and promote sustainable development for both friendly nations and their peoples.
