Abu Dhabi: Deputy Prime Minister Of Moldova Visits Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque

Mihai Popșoi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova, visited the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi along with his official delegation.

The delegation was welcomed and guided by Dr. Yousef Al-Obaidli, Director-General of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre, as they toured the mosque’s grand halls and outer corridors.

During the visit, the guests were introduced to the mosque’s core message of coexistence, tolerance, and openness, rooted in the vision and legacy of the UAE’s founding father. They also learned about the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre’s ongoing efforts to promote Islamic culture and foster cross-cultural dialogue on a global scale.

The tour provided insights into the mosque’s rich history, iconic architecture, and the intricate Islamic art that decorates every corner. The delegation explored the mosque’s unique art collections, showcasing a blend of diverse design styles that come together in harmony—celebrating the essence of cultural unity through architectural brilliance.

At the conclusion of the visit, Mihai Popșoi was presented with a commemorative copy of the book “Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque: A Light of Peace.” The publication highlights the mosque’s architectural magnificence and features a curated collection of award-winning photographs from the “Spaces of Light” competition, offering readers a visual exploration of its artistic and spiritual beauty.
