The Abu Dhabi Sports Council has announced the launch of the “Into the Night Golf Series” this October, offering golf enthusiasts the chance to play under lights at three of Abu Dhabi’s premier golf courses.
The three-week series begins on 4th October at Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting & Golf Club, followed by Abu Dhabi City Golf Club on 11th October, and concludes at Yas Acres Golf & Country Club on 18th October. Competitions will start at 4:30 pm in a shotgun format.
“Into the Night Golf Series reflects our commitment to developing the sport and expanding its player base across all levels, from juniors to amateurs,” said Talal Al Hashemi, Executive Director of Events Sector at Abu Dhabi Sports Council. He added that the initiative supports athletes pursuing international recognition amid growing interest in golf across the UAE.
The tournament will be played in a Stableford format over 18 holes and is open to men, women, and juniors. Series winners will receive special opportunities, including participation in Pro-Am rounds of the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship.
The series will also feature junior-focused activities under the “Future Falcon” programme, in collaboration with the Emirates Golf Federation. Qualifiers will be held at the three clubs, leading up to the finals during the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship at Yas Links Golf Club from 6th to 9th November.
