The Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy will host the 13th edition of the Fatima Bint Mubarak International Show Jumping Cup 2026 from 13–16 January for the international competition and on 18 January for the national championship.
The Cup is held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak “Mother of the Nation,” Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, and under the guidance and supervision of H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy, Chairwoman of Abu Dhabi Ladies Club and Al Ain Ladies Club.
The total prize money for both championships amounts to AED1 million.
The international championship at Al Forsan International Sports Resort in Abu Dhabi will see elite male and female riders from around the world compete across five categories and 22 classes, attracting top international horses and riders and reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s position as a global show jumping hub.
The National Ladies Championship, on 18 January at The Royal Stables, focuses on empowering female riders, developing national talent, and preparing athletes for regional and international competitions in a professional, high-standard environment.
Recognised as a leading equestrian event in the region, the 2026 edition highlights the UAE’s growing global stature in the sport and Abu Dhabi’s role as a premier destination for international equestrian championships.
The championship aligns with the Academy’s strategic vision to promote women in sport, broaden participation in equestrian disciplines, and develop professional female athletes, supporting the UAE’s approach to sport as a sustainable, impactful sector.
An Abu Dhabi Equestrian Festival will run alongside the championship, featuring retail outlets, dining, family activities, and interactive workshops for children.
