The ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, the flagship venue of ADNEC Group, a Modon Holding company, will host two major manufacturing-focused events this week: the Ajban Defense Industry & Technology Exhibition from 23–24 September, followed by the AM Conclave Middle East from 24–25 September.
Both events underscore the UAE’s commitment to advancing its manufacturing sector, with a strong emphasis on additive manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and artificial intelligence—innovations that enhance efficiency, reduce reliance on imports, and reinforce the nation’s position as a hub for advanced industrial capabilities.
Hosting these events reflects ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi’s growing role in supporting strategic industries and providing a platform for knowledge-sharing that empowers the future of manufacturing across the region.
The Ajban Defense Industry & Technology Exhibition, an exclusive invitation-only event, is being held at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi for the first time. It aims to strengthen partnerships between UAE defence manufacturers and local suppliers, reduce reliance on foreign imports, and enhance national self-sufficiency in defence production.
By promoting direct engagement, the exhibition contributes to the UAE’s In-Country Value (ICV) strategy, fostering capital retention, supplier expansion, job creation, and new business opportunities.
Later in the week, the AM Conclave Middle East will convene the entire Additive Manufacturing and 3D Printing ecosystem in the region. The two-day event will feature an application-driven, technology-focused conference showcasing the latest developments and trends in additive manufacturing, with participation from international delegates and industry leaders.
ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi is fast emerging as a hub for large-scale manufacturing events. Earlier this year, the venue successfully hosted the Make it in the Emirates Forum for the first time, which expanded to 68,000 square metres and attracted more than 122,000 visitors and participants. The forum also welcomed over 720 local and international organisations, highlighting the UAE’s industrial growth and investment opportunities under the National Strategy for Industry and Advanced Technology.
