ADNEC Group has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Informa, a leading global exhibitions and events organiser, to boost the exhibitions and events landscape in Al Ain. The strategic collaboration aims to deliver new, high-impact events that contribute to the city’s economic, educational, and cultural development, aligning with Abu Dhabi’s broader growth objectives.
ADNEC Group and Informa will launch four new exhibitions at ADNEC Centre Al Ain in 2026 and 2027 as part of the agreement. These include:
- Wahatan Festival of Creativity
- Najah Higher Education Expo
- The First Harvest Festival
- Zaheb x Tawdheef
The MoU was signed by Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNEC Group, and Peter Hall, President of Informa Markets’ Middle East, India, Türkiye, and Africa. The partnership is designed to create platforms that support Al Ain’s vision of becoming a hub for innovation, culture, and knowledge exchange.

The partnership underscores a shared vision to expand the regional exhibitions sector and enhance Al Ain’s event offerings through high-quality, thematic platforms. ADNEC Group and Informa will collaborate on planning, organizing, and promoting the new exhibitions, laying the groundwork for sustained growth in the emirate’s MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions) sector.
Senior leadership from both organisations attended the MoU signing ceremony, marking a new chapter in Al Ain’s evolution as a centre for world-class events and industry collaboration.
