Abu Dhabi Stem Cells Centre (ADSCC) and Yas Clinic Khalifa City have received internationally recognised accreditation from the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT) for the Abu Dhabi Bone Marrow Transplant (ADBMT) Program.
The accreditation confirms the programme’s full compliance with FACT–JACIE International Standards covering the collection, processing and administration of cellular therapy products, underscoring ADSCC and Yas Clinic Khalifa City’s leadership in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy across the region.
Under the ADBMT Program, ADSCC and Yas Clinic Khalifa City achieved FACT accreditation for a wide range of inspected services and programmes. These include adult and paediatric allogeneic and autologous hematopoietic progenitor cell transplantation, immune effector cellular therapy, marrow cellular therapy product collection for administration and further manufacturing, cellular therapy product collection by apheresis for administration and additional manufacturing, as well as cellular therapy product processing involving both minimal and more than minimal manipulation at the Abu Dhabi Stem Cells Centre Processing and MTM laboratory.
With this milestone, the ADBMT Program, operated by ADSCC, becomes the only programme in the Middle East accredited across all of these advanced cellular therapy services. The achievement further strengthens ADSCC’s status as a designated Centre of Excellence for Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation by the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi.

FACT conducted a comprehensive on-site assessment of ADSCC and Yas Clinic Khalifa City, which included a detailed review of documentation and facility inspections to verify compliance with FACT standards as well as U.S. FDA Good Tissue Practice regulations.
