The General Pension and Social Security Authority (GPSSA) announced today, Friday, 26th September 2025, that pension payments totaling AED843.2 million will be disbursed.

The payments cover pensioners with regular service years, retirees due to health reasons, and beneficiaries entitled to a share of pensions following the passing of an insured member or pensioner.

This periodic disbursement reflects GPSSA’s ongoing commitment to strengthening the social stability of Emirati families, with a strong focus on protecting individuals unable to support themselves due to illness, disability, or old age. The broader aim is to enhance the quality of life for community members, whether they directly benefit from these payments or are indirectly impacted by them.

Pensions allocated for September 2025 represent an increase of AED32.5 million compared to the same period last year, when AED810.7 million was disbursed. The number of pensioners and beneficiaries also grew from 48,735 in September 2024 to 49,668 this year, marking an increase of 933 recipients. This underscores GPSSA’s expanding support for a growing segment of society.

The pension payments disbursed  cover all individuals insured under GPSSA, in addition to customers whose files are managed by the Authority on behalf of the Ministry of Finance, in line with applicable pension laws and within the framework of government cooperation aimed at enhancing efficiency in pension provision.
