Under the initiatives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and with supervision from the Presidential Initiatives Committee, the Al Talla Road development project has been inaugurated in Ajman.

Stretching 3.2 kilometers, the project includes an 800-meter bridge on Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Road and the 1,100-meter Al Hamidiyah Bridge on Sheikh Zayed Road, along with two newly opened under-bridge intersections.

The development is part of a wider plan for sustainable infrastructure improvement and ongoing efforts to enhance the road network across the emirate.

The project is expected to cut travel time to key areas by up to 60 percent and improve connectivity to residential neighborhoods such as Mohamed bin Zayed City, Al Hamidiyah, and Al Raqaib, as well as important facilities including the under-construction Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Hospital and the Zayed Educational Complex in Mohamed bin Zayed City.

The works also included building an integrated stormwater drainage system, along with traffic signals and lighting, enhancing road safety, ensuring smoother traffic flow, and strengthening infrastructure to support Ajman’s urban development and growth.
