H.H. Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ajman Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation, inaugurated Ajman’s first integrated electric vehicle (EV) charging station on Thursday, marking a significant milestone in the emirate’s efforts to advance sustainable transport infrastructure.

The facility is the latest initiative by UAEV, the UAE’s first government-owned EV charging network, and represents the first project of its kind in the Northern Emirates.

During the inauguration ceremony, H.H. Sheikh Abdulaziz toured the station and reviewed its facilities, which are equipped with advanced technological systems that can charge up to 20 electric vehicles at the same time. The station also features the region’s fastest ultra-fast charger, delivering up to 400 kilowatts, designed to greatly improve charging speed and efficiency.

Officials noted that the project is a strategic step in expanding the EV charging network and aligns with the UAE’s wider vision to promote sustainable mobility.
