Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, officially inaugurated the second edition of the Al Dhaid Honey Festival on Thursday.

Organised by the Chamber, the event was attended by a number of officials, dignitaries, and residents from the Central Region. The four-day festival brings together a distinguished group of participants and highlights the significance of honey within the community.

Mohammed Al Tunaiji, the festival’s General Coordinator, noted that this year’s edition has drawn a substantial number of beekeepers and honey merchants from the UAE and several Arab countries. More than 70 exhibitors are presenting a diverse selection of honey products for visitors.

The festival also features engaging activities and competitions, including contests to determine the best varieties of honey, such as “Best Sidr Honey,” “Best Honeycomb,” and “Best Samar Honey.”

The event offers an excellent opportunity for honey enthusiasts to explore, sample, and appreciate this treasured natural product.
