Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, the third Al Wathba Date Festival will take place from January 9 to 18 in the Al Wathba area of Abu Dhabi. The event is organized by the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority as part of the Sheikh Zayed Festival activities.
The festival seeks to support palm growers, boost local date production, and encourage innovation in palm cultivation and related sectors, while also safeguarding the UAE’s agricultural heritage and passing it on to future generations.
The Al Wathba Date Festival features 14 competitions, offering 116 prizes with a total value exceeding AED 2 million.
