Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC) 2025 kicks off this weekend, transforming the city into an open-air gym and inspiring everyone to commit to 30 minutes of daily activity for 30 days. The heartbeat of DFC pulses through every corner of the city, bringing accessible fitness to everyone, everywhere.

From three free world-class Fitness Villages to 30 dedicated Community Fitness Hubs, this year’s edition ensures that fitness truly reaches every neighborhood, offering countless ways for residents and visitors to move alongside friends, family, colleagues, and neighbors, building stronger bonds and shared memories that embody the spirit of the UAE’s “Year of the Community.” 

An initiative of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense of the UAE, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, DFC 2025 runs from 1 to 30 November, offering thousands of free classes, workouts, and events across the city.  

By committing to just 30 minutes of activity for 30 days, participants can improve their health, boost their wellbeing, and discover the activities or communities that keep them motivated beyond the 30 days, building lasting lifestyle change. 

Three Free 30×30 Fitness Villages

DP World 30×30 Fitness Village Kite Beach

Running from 1 to 30 November, Kite Beach hosts Dubai’s largest free fitness destination and the must-visit location of DFC 2025. Open Monday to Friday 3:00 PM -11:00 PM and weekends 07:00 AM -11:00 PM, the village offers the most comprehensive fitness experience of the month with activities for every ability and interest. 

The Village features an extensive range of activity zones, including a Main Stage with daily programming, Functional Fitness, Box’d, MMA, Lift, Ride, Row, HIIT, Bootcamp, Yoga, Obstacle Course Race (OCR), Beach Warrior, Rebounder, Skate Park, and Water Sports. New for 2025 are the functional fitness zones of   Activate and Bootcamp, OCR, Beach Warrior, and Skate Park zones. 

Bookable courts are available for padel tennis, beach volleyball, cricket, beach soccer, five-a-side football, and basketball. Facilities include a registration area with bike and stroller parking, hydration zones, F&B outlets, retail shops, first aid, and a DFC 2025 merchandise stand.

Dubai Municipality 30×30 Fitness Village Zabeel Park

Centrally located at Zabeel Park Gate 2, this vibrant community hub serves as the heart of DFC’s running and cycling scene. Open Monday to Friday 4:00 PM -11:00 PM and weekends 12:00 PM -11:00 PM, the Village features a Main Stage with live classes, a Kids Fitness Zone, Spinning Zone, and new Boxing and Yoga Zones for 2025.

Bookable courts include cricket, padel tennis, and basketball. Facilities include on-site F&B outlets, retail booths, hydration stations, and a first aid point. It’s the perfect place for residents to gather, get active, and enjoy a diverse range of workouts and wellness activities throughout the month. 

The Fitness Village also serves as the official bib distribution point for Dubai Ride presented by DP World (29 October-1 November) and Dubai Run presented by Mai Dubai (3 – 22 November), making it a key destination in the DFC 2025 calendar.  Participants can collect their bibs for the Dubai Ride from October 29th to November 1st, with collections available Wednesday-Thursday from 04:00 PM -11:00 PM, Friday from 12:00 PM -11:00 PM, and Saturday from 08:00 AM -11:00 PM.

Dubai Municipality 30×30 Fitness Village Al Warqa’a Park

Perfect for families and outdoor enthusiasts, Al Warqa’a Park is a family-focused fitness destination designed to inspire the entire community to get active together in a safe, inclusive outdoor setting. Open daily from 4:00 PM – 11:00 PM, the village combines movement and nature. 

Activity zones include a Main Stage with daily fitness classes, a bike rental hub, a new outdoor gym for 2025, a Kids Fitness Zone, a Ladies Only Fitness Zone, and a Running Club. The park features a scenic 2.8 km running and cycling track, perfect for residents to run, ride, or walk while enjoying fresh air and green space. 

Bookable courts are available for volleyball, football, basketball, and, new for 2025, padel tennis. Facilities include F&B kiosks, hydration zones, an info desk, and first aid, offering a welcoming environment for all ages and abilities. 

Fitness in Every Neighborhood

From beaches and parks to sports venues and neighborhood communities, DFC 2025 brings activity closer to home with 30 Fitness Hubs offering free workouts, group classes, and family sessions across the city throughout November.

Beachfront and lifestyle destinations include The Beach JBR × SQUATWOLF 30×30 Fitness Hub, powered by SQUATWOLF with free daily workout sessions and group fitness classes led by professional trainers; Bluewaters 30×30 Fitness Hub featuring free community sessions combining fitness and leisure with open-air classes and family-friendly workouts; and Palm West Beach 30×30 Fitness Hub offering puppy yoga, functional flow classes, morning yoga, pilates fusion, and ice bath sessions.

Adventure and mountain experiences feature Hatta Wadi 30×30 Fitness Hub hosting some of DFC 2025’s most anticipated endurance events including Spartan Race, Tough Mudder, Hatta Sign Hike, EBAR, and XC5 RACE 1: Hatta Wadi Hub XCTT, alongside weekly activations such as wall climbing, football zorbing, mountain biking, and open-air swimming; and JA Hatta Fort Hotel 30×30 Fitness Hub offering guided activities including air gun shooting, archery, walking, football, swimming lessons, mindfulness sessions, and stretching classes.

Sports and specialist venues include Danube Sports World 30×30 Fitness Hub with free access to padel, football, basketball, badminton, table tennis, pickleball, and cricket; Golf is Good at 10 leading golf venues offering free lessons, Speed Golf competitions, Golf Simulator games, and the Step Fore Challenge; The Sevens Stadium 30×30 Fitness Hub bringing fitness and padel classes; and X-Park Dubai × WELLFIT 30×30 Fitness Hub with free access to signature Gymbox group classes.

Urban and lifestyle hubs feature AES SB Skate Park 30×30 Fitness Hub with skateboarding and action sports activities; Gate Avenue 30×30 Fitness Hub in DIFC offering convenient downtown fitness sessions; Mercedes-Benz Brand Center 30×30 Fitness Hub at Dubai Design District with morning yoga on the rooftop, community runs by the Creek, Pilates, meditation, table tennis, family yoga, fencing, and weekend sports including tennis, pickleball, soccer tennis, basketball and badminton, plus wellness talks and a 30% discount on the fitness menu at AMG Kaffeehaus; and three Wasl 30×30 Fitness Hubs (Wasl Green Park, Wasl Village, and Wasl 1) bringing fitness to residential communities across Dubai.
