ASMO, a joint venture between Saudi Aramco Development Company and DHL, has announced its sponsorship of the Al-Qadsiah Women’s Football Club, marking the company’s first entry into professional sports.

The sponsorship was formalised at a signing ceremony in Khobar and reflects ASMO’s ambition to expand its impact beyond procurement and supply chain solutions into sports, community development, and inclusion.

Craig Roberts, CEO of ASMO, said the partnership embodies shared values of “teamwork, resilience, integrity, and inclusion,” noting that just as ASMO redefines procurement “one link at a time,” Al-Qadsiah demonstrates unity and determination on the field.

As part of the deal, ASMO will support Al-Qadsiah throughout the Saudi Women’s Premier League season, with brand visibility at matches and initiatives under its “Access to Sports” programme, which forms part of the wider “Access for All” CSR framework. Employee engagement and community activations will further extend the partnership’s reach.

James Bisgrove, CEO of Al-Qadsiah Club, called the collaboration a milestone moment, saying it strengthens the platform for the women’s team and inspires the next generation of female players across the club’s academies.

The move underscores ASMO’s broader commitment to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals, particularly in promoting inclusion, breaking barriers, and nurturing ambition in both business and sport.
