Dubai South has introduced a new support package to ease financial pressure on small and medium-sized enterprises, as part of broader efforts to reinforce business stability across the emirate.

The initiative, targeted at companies operating within its Business Park, focuses on providing immediate relief while strengthening long-term tenant relationships. It comes at a time when authorities across the UAE are pushing to maintain economic momentum amid global uncertainty.

The measures include rent-free incentives tied to contract renewals, greater flexibility on payment deferrals, and the waiver of minor administrative penalties. Rental rates for eligible renewals will also be held at current levels, offering businesses some predictability in their operating costs.

Dubai South said the package is designed to support its growing SME base, which plays a central role in Dubai’s economic ecosystem, particularly across sectors such as logistics, aviation, and services.

Nabil Al Kindi, Group CEO of Dubai South, said the initiative reflects a continued focus on enabling business continuity.
“SMEs are at the heart of Dubai’s economic fabric, and supporting their continuity and growth remains a priority,” he said.

He added that the measures are intended to provide practical, timely support while maintaining a stable environment for long-term growth.

Dubai South’s Business Park has been positioning itself as a hub for companies looking for flexible office solutions and integrated services, supported by its proximity to key logistics and aviation infrastructure.

The support package will be reviewed periodically, and the developer may make adjustments in response to changing market conditions.

The move aligns with wider government efforts to support businesses and sustain economic activity, particularly in segments where SMEs continue to drive innovation, employment, and diversification.
