China’s Ministry of Industry said output from major industrial enterprises is expected to rise by 5.9 percent in 2025 compared with 2024.
According to figures released by the National Bureau of Statistics, this represents a slight increase from the 5.8 percent growth recorded in 2024, although it remains lower than the 6 percent growth seen during the first eleven months of 2025.
Industrial production, which includes companies with annual revenues of at least 20 million yuan (about U.S.$2.85 million), expanded by 4.8 percent in November, marking the weakest year-on-year monthly growth since August 2024.
