Hospitality and entertainment group 7 Management has been hired by Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) to manage The Plaza at Uptown Dubai to reinforce the image of the district as a destination to hold huge events, culture, and live entertainment.
The Plaza is the flagship open-air events space in Uptown Dubai, covering 21,000 square metres, designed specifically to accommodate high-impact events like concerts, festivals, and fan zones, corporate galas, fashion shows, and cultural showcases.
The venue has the capacity to host 4,000 guests and has a dedicated stage, a 43 metres HD screen, premium lighting and sound systems, and a fully integrated event infrastructure.
The Plaza is situated in a 15-minute vicinity of major Dubai hotspots such as JLT, Dubai Marina, and The Palm Jumeirah. The Plaza is strategically placed to appeal to both regional and international audiences.
Based on the partnership, 7 Management will use its experience and innovative nature in running events and use its portfolio of venues within the region, including Seven Sisters, February 30, Antika, The Theater, Lucia’s, Limonata, Sayf, YUBI, Lady Bird, and the newly launched 25 Jump Street.

The Plaza contributes to the larger ecosystem of Grade A commercial offices, luxury residences, and hospitality assets, such as the SO/ Uptown Dubai Hotel and Residences, in Uptown Dubai.
The appointment of 7 Management signifies another move toward the strategy of DMCC to build integrated districts contributing to the attraction of Dubai as a global business centre, culture, and live entertainment hub.
