Dubai Airshow 2025 To Spotlight Advanced Air Mobility

The Dubai Airshow 2025, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, will place Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) at the forefront, featuring its largest-ever showcase from November 17 to 21 at Dubai World Central (DWC).

The event will host 1,500 exhibitors, 200 aircraft, and 350 speakers, coinciding with Dubai’s plans to introduce electric flying taxis in 2026. The AAM Pavilion will display full-scale eVTOLs and drones, with participants including Archer Aviation, Joby Aviation, Autocraft, Eanan, WeFly, and new entrants Sarla Aviation (India) and TransFuture Aviation (China).

Anthony Khoury, General Manager – UAE at Joby Aviation, said: “The Dubai Airshow’s focus on Advanced Air Mobility is a testament to the UAE’s leadership in a new era of flight… We are proud to be exhibiting at this year’s airshow.”

K2’s Waleed Alblooshi noted that Autocraft will showcase its eVTOL model and a lounge-style vertiport, with plans to mass-produce aircraft in Abu Dhabi, positioning the UAE as a hub for advanced aviation manufacturing.

Skyports Infrastructure will highlight progress on vertiport construction near Dubai International Airport. Damian Kysely, Head of EMEA, said: “Being part of the AAM pavilion gives us a strong platform to show the importance of vertiport infrastructure within the wider AAM ecosystem.”

The programme will open with Saif Mohammed Al-Suwaidi, Director General of the UAE’s GCAA, outlining the nation’s roadmap, with keynotes from Archer CEO Adam Goldstein, Joby CEO JoeBen Bevirt, and Omran Malek of ADIO.

Dubai Airshow 2025 is expected to deliver aircraft unveilings, infrastructure announcements, and policy updates, reinforcing the UAE’s ambition to lead the next era of clean and connected air travel.
