Dubai Basketball’s EuroLeague round seven encounter in Vitoria ended in a 92–85 defeat to Baskonia, despite a competitive performance that kept the visitors in contention until the final moments.
Baskonia started strong, controlling the pace and capitalizing on transition opportunities to secure a six-point advantage after the opening quarter. Dubai responded in the second period by tightening up defensively and finding their offensive rhythm. Improved execution and effective inside play enabled them to erase the deficit and take a narrow lead into halftime.
Filip Petrušev led Dubai with 22 points and 7 rebounds, while Davis Bertans added 19 points and McKinley Wright contributed 13 points and 6 assists.
Dubai will aim to bounce back quickly, with a road matchup against Valencia coming up on Thursday.
The team’s November home schedule features several key fixtures: Partizan (ABA League) on 3 November, SC Derby (ABA League) on 9 November, Crvena Zvezda (EuroLeague) on 11 November, Žalgiris Kaunas (EuroLeague) on 14 November, and Paris Basketball (EuroLeague) on 25 November.
