Dubai Chambers announced on Thursday that it will organise the fifth international edition of the Dubai Business Forum in Shenzhen, China, on 14 May 2026, as part of its efforts to attract new Chinese investments and partnerships in support of Dubai’s Economic Agenda (D33).

The Dubai Business Forum – China aims to highlight the opportunities created by the D33 agenda and position Dubai as a strategic gateway for Chinese companies seeking to expand into the Middle East, Asia, and Africa.

Hosting the forum in Shenzhen places the event at the centre of the Greater Bay Area, a major global hub for technological innovation.

Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, said the decision to return to China underscores the organisation’s commitment to strengthening economic relations and creating “tangible pathways for growth in the digital economy.”

He added that the forum is expected to stimulate new collaborations and joint ventures that align with the ambitions of the D33 agenda.

Forum sessions will provide a platform for exchanging insights on innovation, trade, the digital economy, and emerging industries.

The event forms part of Dubai Chambers’ ongoing strategy to expand its global network and reinforce Dubai’s status as a leading destination for foreign direct investment. The growing presence of Chinese companies in Dubai is reflected in the more than 6,190 active Chinese members registered with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce by the end of the third quarter of 2025.

The forum will feature curated business-matching meetings, sector-specific roundtables, and policy dialogues designed to foster long-term cooperation.

The previous Dubai Business Forum – China, held in Beijing in August 2024, attracted over 800 business leaders and investors.
