After a five-month pause for renovations, the iconic Dubai Fountain will resume daily shows on October 1, Emaar confirmed on Saturday. The reopening marks the return of one of the city’s most visited attractions, often described as the “soul of Downtown Dubai.” The Dubai Fountain reopens with exciting new features and timings.

The Dubai Fountain Reopens with an Unforgettable Experience for Visitors.

The world’s largest choreographed fountain system will feature two afternoon shows at 1:00 pm and 1:30 pm on weekdays, with Friday timings set for 2:00 pm and 2:30 pm. Evening shows will run every 30 minutes between 6:00 pm and 11:00 pm.

Phase One of renovation works has been completed, covering new tiling, upgraded water insulation, and fresh paintwork to preserve both the fountain’s signature look and long-term performance. Emaar said Phase Two, scheduled for completion in Q2 2026, will introduce “innovative new features” designed to further enhance the spectacle.

“The return of Dubai Fountain is a celebration of Dubai itself – its spirit, its energy, and its ability to inspire the world,” said Mohamed Alabbar, Founder of Emaar. “This landmark has always brought people together, creating shared moments of wonder and joy.”

Anticipation for the comeback has already sparked interest among residents and international tourists, with some visitors timing trips to coincide with the reopening. Since its debut, the Dubai Fountain has attracted millions, combining water, light, and music into one of the emirate’s most recognisable experiences.
