The Dubai Government pavilion at GITEX GLOBAL 2025 presented a comprehensive vision of the emirate’s AI-driven urban future, featuring integrated demonstrations from multiple government entities that highlighted advancements in autonomous systems, digital governance, and intelligent city management.
The pavilion brought together innovations from Digital Dubai, Dubai Police, Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation (PCFC), and Dubai Municipality under a unified showcase of how artificial intelligence and data intelligence are transforming public services and urban infrastructure.
Digital Dubai introduced AI Agents as digital colleagues working alongside human employees, alongside the AI Room – an immersive experience showcasing services available through the DubaiNow app. The entity also highlighted CodAI and the Dubai Dashboard, platforms designed to strengthen AI maturity and provide real-time insights for decision-makers.
Dubai Police demonstrated its Drone Box initiative, an autonomous system deployed citywide to reduce emergency response times from three minutes to one. The force also showcased its Autonomous Mobile Patrol vehicles, equipped with facial recognition, behavior analysis, and license plate detection capabilities, which can operate for 16 hours without human intervention.
The RTA featured AutoCheck 360, an AI-powered vehicle inspection system that reduced inspection times from 17 minutes to 7 by leveraging computer vision and IoT technology. The authority also displayed its Trackless Tram, an autonomous public transport vehicle that uses optical navigation and LiDAR to follow virtual routes without physical tracks.
PCFC launched Marsa, a digital platform for yacht docking and management, and Port Eye, a smart drone system for port surveillance and environmental monitoring. The drone autonomously detects gas leaks and changes in air quality, transmitting real-time data to control rooms.
Dubai Municipality presented the DANA project, a smart digital system trained on multiple real-world scenarios to support land management, urban planning, and building services. The municipality also showcased Dubai Live, a dynamic digital twin platform that provides real-time, interactive city data.
The integrated demonstrations reflected Dubai’s strategic approach to building intelligent, trusted ecosystems where technology enhances public services and redefines urban living standards. The showcase positioned Dubai as a global leader in implementing comprehensive AI-driven governance and city management solutions.
