Dubai will introduce new premium parking fees, to be implemented in March 2025, as announced by Parkin PJSC. The premium parking spaces will be charged at AED6 per hour during peak hours, from 8 am to 10 am and 4 pm to 8 pm. For other public paid parking areas, the charge will be AED4 per hour.

The premium parking zones will be located in high-demand areas, such as near public transportation hubs like metro and bus stations, as well as in central business districts and popular shopping destinations. These spaces will be clearly marked with dedicated signage, and tariff details will be displayed prominently, reports Khaleej Times.

Additional information will also be available on the Parkin website, mobile app, and through social media channels. The new charges aim to provide drivers with better access to busy areas while helping manage parking availability during peak times.

As the UAE gears up for National Day celebrations, roads across the country are expected to be bustling with people eager to make the most of the long weekend. With numerous events, sales, and gatherings taking place, it’s crucial to plan commutes well in advance to avoid the traffic congestion.
