Dubai Ruler Approves AED5.4 Billion For 3,000+ Housing Units Project

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has approved a series of housing projects worth AED5.4 billion to benefit Emirati citizens across the emirate.

The projects will deliver over 3,000 new homes, including 1,181 in Latifa City for those receiving housing loans, and 606 in Al Yalayis 5, 432 in Wadi Al Amardi, 398 in Al Awir 1, 200 in Hatta, 120 in Oud Al Muteena, and 67 in rural areas for those eligible for housing grants.

These initiatives align with the Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum Family Programme, which aims to enhance family well-being and strengthen community bonds.

Sheikh Mohammed emphasized the importance of citizen well-being as the cornerstone of all development efforts, stating that housing programs are a top priority to ensure stable and comfortable living standards for Emirati families.

Omar Hamad Bu Shehab, CEO of the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment, highlighted the commitment to providing integrated residential environments that meet the diverse needs of citizens while adhering to the highest standards of comfort and safety.

The Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan guides these housing initiatives, focusing on sustainable land use, diverse housing options, and the creation of vibrant communities with green spaces and recreational facilities.
