With just days to go until Dubai Run 2025 presented by Mai Dubai, organisers are calling on participants to collect their bibs for what is expected to be the biggest edition yet of the annual community event.

Scheduled for Sunday, 23 November, the flagship activity of the Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC) will again turn Sheikh Zayed Road and Downtown Dubai into a running track open to people of all fitness levels. Participants will pass key city landmarks, including the Museum of the Future, Dubai Water Canal, and Burj Khalifa.

Last year’s run attracted 278,000 participants, a 23% increase from the previous edition, making Dubai Run the largest free community run in the world.

This year’s event will feature a range of entertainment along the course and at start points. Plans include aerial stunt paramotors, LED puppets, a warrior drum crew, a 55-piece marching band, circus performers, stilt walkers, and DJs from UNTOLD. Celebrity presenters Kris Fade and Katie Overy will host parts of the event. Mist and bubble arches will be placed at finish lines and along Mai Dubai hydration stations throughout the routes.

Runners can select from two routes: a 5km course finishing near Dubai Mall on Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard, suitable for families and beginners, or a 10km route for more experienced runners, finishing at DIFC Gate Building.

Organizers said both routes offer extensive views of Dubai’s skyline and are designed to accommodate participants of all abilities. Facilities and dedicated support teams will ensure People of Determination can take part, in line with DFC’s focus on inclusion.

Bib and T-shirt collection, provided by Sun and Sand Sports, continues at the Dubai Municipality 30×30 Fitness Village at Zabeel Park until 22 November. Visitors can also explore activities at the venue ahead of race day.

Dubai Run is organised by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) and Dubai Sports Council. The event is presented by Mai Dubai, with Sun and Sand Sports, AW Rostamani Group, Commercial Bank of Dubai, DP World, talabat, The Ultimate Human Wellness Clinic, Whoop, and Emaar as Association Partners. Emirates Airlines and Dubai’s Road and Transport Authority (RTA) are Official Partners, Arabian Radio Network (ARN) is Media Partner, and Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services, Dubai Police, and the Event Security Committee are Government Partners.
