Dubai is set to become a new shopping destination for fans of the Irish multinational fashion retailer, Primark. As many as three new stores are slated to open in the emirate by the first quarter of 2026.
The highly anticipated locations for these stores are within some of Dubai’s most prominent shopping centers: Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates, and Mirdif City Centre.
In an interview with Virgin Radio, Alshaya CEO John Hadden confirmed the arrival and indicated that the budget-friendly prices Primark is known for will be maintained in Dubai. “Prices are going to be the same,” he stated, adding that “t-shirts will start at Dh15, and jeans at Dh50.”
This expansion into Dubai is part of a broader Middle Eastern entry for Primark. The retailer is also set to open its first store in the region in Kuwait in October of this year. This means that Primark will launch with at least four stores across the Middle East in the coming months.
According to its website, Primark’s aim is to offer “affordable choices for everyone” and to make sustainable fashion accessible. The fashion retailer currently operates in 17 countries.
