The Eastern Region Municipality in Saudi Arabia concluded 14 investment and development contracts and memoranda of understanding (MOUs), worth over SAR5 billion, during its participation in the Cityscape Global 2025 exhibition in Riyadh.

The Mayor Fahad Al-Jubeir presided over the signing of some of the most significant investment contracts, such as agreements to develop sites for itinerant vendor incubators.

Moreover, Digital Centers for Data and Telecommunications Company (center3), a subsidiary of stc Group, signed a contract with the aim of creating digital data centers.

This project will support the idea of digital transformation and the development of the technological infrastructure essential to smart cities.

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) indicated that such projects and agreements are the extension of the work of the municipality to lure local, Gulf, and global investments.

Riyadh hosted the opening of Cityscape Global 2025, with over $43 billion worth of real estate deals projected, reflecting the speed of transformation taking place in Saudi Arabia through its Vision 2030 program.

The event was held on November 17-20 at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, which is the largest real estate exhibition in the world, and it was attended by more than 172,000 individuals representing developers, investors, architects, policymakers, and providers of technology.

The 2025 version includes an increased list of agenda consisting of more than 450 exhibitors, 500 speakers, four specialized conferences, and two VIP networking programs intended for institutional investors and global developers.

Another important event is the co-location of ESTAAD, the first platform in Saudi Arabia focusing on the infrastructure of stadiums, sports, or mega-events, which will further diversify the scope of the event.

The event displays the aspirations of Saudi Arabia to become the most contemporary urban development in the world, with innovative projects and sustainable urban city designs, with the theme of “The Future of Urban Living.”

Key real estate developers such as Ajdan, Ajlan & Bros, Al Basateen, and others serve as Diamond Partners, offering projects that reflect innovation and align with the goals of sustainable growth in the Kingdom.

The focus of Cityscape Global is also the development of innovations through its Innovation Arena, which deals with the work of tech startups, conducts a Future Leaders Hackathon with next-generation architects, and gives information about homeownership and mortgages in the Saudi market.

The international participants are also high with major representation by nations from countries such as the U.S., China, India, the U.K., Italy, UAE, Qatar, and Jordan, which indicates great global interest in the developing Saudi Arabian real estate industry.

The edition 2025 expands on the performance of the 2024 Cityscape event, in which luxury real estate such as The Ritz-Carlton Residences Diriyah was well-received, making 2025 a significant milestone in the field of real estate in the region and globally.

However, the event expands Riyadh’s reputation as a significant center for real estate investment and innovation.
