EMSTEEL Group and Oldendorff Carriers have signed a new long-term freight agreement for the import of EMSTEEL’s essential raw materials into the UAE.
As part of the renewed deal, Oldendorff Carriers will continue delivering dedicated and efficient bulk shipping services for EMSTEEL’s raw material shipments, ensuring safe, dependable, and responsible maritime logistics operations.
The agreement extends a partnership spanning more than two decades, further strengthening a collaboration that has been instrumental in supporting EMSTEEL’s industrial expansion and maintaining the reliability of its supply chain.
Structured as a five-year contract with an estimated total value of around AED600 million over its duration, the agreement highlights the scale and strategic significance of the relationship between the two companies.
Under its terms, Oldendorff Carriers will handle the transportation of approximately 5.2 million tonnes of iron ore pellets (IOP) annually from various global sources. The company plays a vital role in linking EMSTEEL with its IOP suppliers, ensuring smooth coordination, consistent deliveries, and effective supply chain collaboration.
