Expo City Dubai has named Engineering Contracting Company (ECC) as its main contractor for Sidr Residences, a premium residential development, which is expected to be completed by 2027.
The project mainly focuses on three linked towers, which are two rising 15 floors and another one with 13 floors, along with 421 apartments, lofts, and townhouses from one to four bedrooms.
Sidr Residences remain the recent addition towards expanding the residential portfolio of Expo City Dubai, which includes such properties as Expo Valley, Mangrove Residences, Sky Residences, and Al Waha Residences.
Chief Development and Delivery Officer of Expo City Dubai, Ahmed Al Khatib, stated that “Sidr Residences captures the essence of our vision for a sustainable, connected, forward-looking city. Partnering with a trusted local contractor like ECC ensures the highest standards of quality and delivery as we continue to build the city of the future.”
General director of ECC, Nidal Hassoun, added that “We are thrilled to bring Sidr Residences to life. This project blends smart, eco-conscious design with the convenience of a walkable urban neighbourhood, and we are proud to deliver a development that exemplifies excellence and visionary urban design in Dubai.”
Sidr Residences intends to build a new benchmark for urban living with Expo City Dubai. It is also set to add modern architecture, sustainability, and community living.
The development initiates the straight access to Al Maktoum International Airport, Jebel Ali Port, and the Dubai Exhibition Center, which is situated between Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
The Dubai Urban Master Plan and the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), Expo City strives to develop as a center for innovation, sustainability, and connected city living by 2040.
