Flyadeal has implemented a series of customer experience improvements. These aim at convenience and flexibility with features such as 7kg free carry-on baggage on its lowest fare offer, ‘fly.’
The value-added hand baggage incentive acknowledges the necessity that passengers who are buying low-cost carriers’ most popular low fare packages need to bring more with them when making arrangements to travel.
The new perk will apply to all flyadeal domestic flights within Saudi Arabia and international operations of the fast-growing airline in the Kingdom, based at Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, and Madinah.
Furthermore, flyadeal is remodelling other ancillary products as a way of increasing customer awareness of its three-tier fare bundle products, such as fly, fly+, and flymax.
These include free date changes for ‘fly’ and fly+ bookings within two hours of reservation, and a small fee on changes in travel plans made up to 90 minutes before departure.
The passengers buying the top-tier flyadeal’s flyMax fares, unlimited free flight changes within 90 minutes of departure, and a full refund of cancellations within three days of a flight.
Flyadeal Senior Ancillary and Loyalty Manager, Abdullah Adel Alahmadi, said that “These changes and awareness notifications are being implemented based on continuous consumer surveys and feedback on ways to improve the customer experience.”
He further added, “By offering 7kg free carry-on on our most basic bundle, passengers can travel with confidence of being able to avail the lowest fares, knowing they can carry more essentials onboard. We also realise passengers sometimes need greater understanding of our benefits, being more flexible, helping them make decision-making much easier, and taking the stress out of travel planning.”
