The Dubai-based carrier, Flydubai, has declared seven new interline agreements, and the total number of interline partners of the carrier is more than 40.
Such strategic partnerships will provide Flydubai customers with over 30 destinations in Europe by means of the flagship airline of Greece, Aegean Airlines, and the national carrier of Italy, ITA Airways.
Moreover, the passengers of Flydubai now experience traveling to higher connections to over 90 destinations by flying with Myanmar Airways International and Chinese airlines Air China, China Eastern Airlines, Hainan Airlines, and Sichuan Airlines when traveling to the Far East and South-East Asia.
These new alliances will enable passengers to enjoy a smooth traveling experience with single ticket itineraries and through checked baggage as the carrier pledges to increase connectivity and access to new destinations.
Currently, Flydubai has constructed an expanding network of over 135 destinations, which allows access to over 300 destinations through its interline and codeshare partners.
Chief Executive Officer of Flydubai, Ghaith Al Ghaith, said, “Since 2009, we have remained committed to enhancing connectivity and facilitating free flows of trade and tourism, which is why we are pleased to have added seven new interline partners. These agreements will provide our passengers even more flexibility and choice when planning their travel, offering access to our partners’ route networks across key markets in Asia and Europe. At the same time, more passengers will be able to access Dubai as a leading destination for tourism and business, reaffirming its position as an international aviation hub.”
He further added, “We look forward to welcoming on board passengers from beyond our network, where they can discover our exciting destinations and enjoy a comfortable travel experience, whether they choose to fly in Business Class or Economy Class.”
In cooperation with Aegean Airlines and ITA Airways, Flydubai passengers have an opportunity to reach over 30 destinations in Greece, Italy, and Europe, such as Amsterdam, Athens, Brussels, Frankfurt, Madrid, Munich, Thessaloniki, Turin, and Venice.
Flydubai’s passengers will also have a wider range of choices and flexibility, with over 90 destinations in the Far East and South-East Asia, such as Beijing, Chongqing, Hangzhou, Ho Chi Minh City, Shanghai, and Yangon, as flydubai will have interline agreements with the Chinese carriers and Myanmar Airways International.
