Legendary footballer Paolo Maldini has placed his trust in RRS International Development with their NH Collection Ras Al Khaimah Al Marjan Island hotel and residences, signaling strong global confidence in the project’s vision and leadership.

The USD 100 million mixed-use development, featuring 121 hotel keys and 36 branded residences, is set for completion in 2027 and marks the debut of the NH Collection brand on Al Marjan Island. The project offers over 20 lifestyle-focused amenities, including a cantilevered podium-level pool, a rooftop infinity pool as an artist-signed living canvas, a zen garden, destination dining, and elevated leisure experiences designed for both guests and owners.

Strategically positioned near Wynn Al Marjan Island—the GCC’s upcoming integrated gaming resort—the development is poised to benefit from the region’s growing tourism and investment cycle. Maldini, whose career is defined by loyalty, consistency, and leadership under pressure, noted the parallels with RRS International Development’s ethos, “NH Collection is a brand we all know, particularly in Europe, and specially in Italy and Spain. What stood out to me with this project is that the product feels different and very complete. It combines the standards and experience of an established international brand with a lifestyle-driven concept that fits naturally with the destination.”

Designed by B8 Architecture, the development features wave-inspired architecture that complements its coastal setting. Luxury finishes, layered interiors, curated art, and landscaped social spaces create an environment of character and warmth. Signature features include a cantilevered statement pool, a kinetic art rooftop infinity pool, wellness amenities, and fine dining options that elevate the hospitality experience.

The project has already seen exceptional demand from international buyers, further strengthened by UAE 10-year Golden Visa eligibility for owners. Comparable branded hospitality assets in the region command AED 7,000 per sq. ft. and higher, underscoring early-entry upside potential.

Globally, integrated gaming and entertainment resorts have historically boosted tourism and real estate values—Macau being a prime example. Ras Al Khaimah is expected to see similar transformative growth, combining nature, luxury, wellness, adventure, and entertainment, creating a long-term, sustainable tourism-led economy.

Rakesh Mirchandani, Co-Founder of RRS International Development, said: “The NH Collection debut in Ras Al Khaimah was met with overwhelming interest, with the project oversubscribed at launch. Paolo Maldini’s decision reflects trust in our leadership, our partners, and our commitment to execution. We are building assets that combine lifestyle appeal with operational depth and long-term relevance.”

Sanjay Dhawan, Co-Founder, added: “Our approach is rooted in precision, accountability, and discipline—values that transcend industries. This project reflects our belief that true luxury is created through thoughtful design, strong partnerships, and responsible delivery.”

The development further solidifies RRS International Development’s strategy of delivering design-led, hospitality-driven assets with a focus on investor alignment, operational excellence, and future-ready living.
