Jassem Al Budaiwi, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), met with Charles Kingston, New Zealand’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, at the GCC Secretariat in Riyadh to discuss advancing a free trade agreement between the GCC states and New Zealand.

The talks covered various areas of mutual interest, with both sides exchanging perspectives on regional and international developments. The free trade deal, once concluded, is expected to boost economic cooperation, open new market opportunities, and strengthen trade flows between the GCC bloc and New Zealand.
