Group-IB and VAS Integrated Solutions signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to seek strategic cooperation and channel-based growth opportunities throughout Saudi Arabia in a move to work harder to combat the fast-changing cyber threat environment in the region.

The agreement creates a model of cooperation that concentrates on the exchange of knowledge, innovations, and the creation of high-technology cybersecurity systems that meet the needs of the local market.

It indicates a mutual interest in fostering the digital transformation agenda in Saudi Arabia by means of robust partnerships and the improvement of cyber resilience.

The MoU was signed by the Regional Sales Director of KSA and Türkiye at Group-IB, Mohammad Flaifel, and Bilal Abdulrahman, Country Manager, KSA & GCC at VAS Integrated Solutions, on the sidelines of Black Hat MEA.

The signing highlights the dedication of both organizations to invest in the development of the cybersecurity ecosystem in the Kingdom by engaging with it locally and with partner-based initiatives.

The two companies will join efforts in terms of joint-market development, facilitating partnerships, and awareness programmes under the agreement to capitalize on the adversary-focused and predictive model of cyber threat and fraud intelligence devised by Group-IB.

Group-IB offers regional expertise in the Middle East and Africa with global threat intelligence and investigative services through its Digital Crime Resistance Center (DCRC) model, allowing organizations in Saudi Arabia to anticipate, prevent, and respond to complex cyber and fraud threats.

VAS Integrated Solutions plays a significant role in providing these features throughout the Kingdom, leveraging its longstanding partner network, local market understanding, and reach to assist organizations in enhancing their cybersecurity posture according to the national digital priorities.

Cybersecurity awareness and education are also major points of focus in the collaboration. It is planned to create educational materials, joint webinars, workshops, and training programmes on cybersecurity aspects among industry professionals, and possibly engage in advisory groups that should boost cybersecurity awareness at the national scale.

Flaifel said, “This partnership represents an important step in strengthening our long-term channel strategy in Saudi Arabia and reflects our dedication to building a safer and more secure digital environment. By working closely with VAS, we aim to expand our footprint in the Kingdom, support our partners, and better serve customers with advanced cyber and fraud intelligence capabilities tailored to the evolving local threat landscape.”

Abdulrahman stated, “We are proud to partner with Group-IB to enhance cybersecurity awareness and tackle critical digital challenges across the Kingdom. Together, we aim to empower businesses with the tools and knowledge needed to stay ahead in an evolving threat landscape, reinforcing our commitment to impactful collaboration and advanced solutions across the wider region.”
