H Dubai, a gateway to the Middle East’s most dynamic city, has recently partnered with the UAE Red Crescent to bring a significant community activation to the Red Crescent Dubai headquarters in Al Garhoud on September 12.
In line with the UAE’s declaration of 2025 as the Year of Community with the theme “hand in hand”, the event’s main motive is to unite families, children, and volunteers.
This community project was conducted in honor of the International Day of Charity and the Year of Community in Dubai, in which children under the support of Emirates Red Crescent received a cookie decorating session by The H Hotel.
The H Dubai has been known to be committed to corporate social responsibility, and it has been keen on relationships that bring positive social impact.
It has organized several events involving children of determination, sustainability, purpose-based initiatives, and other charitable partnerships. The hotel still shows community as a center of its work.
The H Dubai has also undertaken several remarkable projects, including an annual Iftar dinner with children on the spectrum, organized in partnership with the Georgetown Early Intervention Centre, and provided children with a place filled with happiness, inclusivity, and connection.
The hotel has also been at the forefront in promoting awareness through the arts when it brought in celebrity artist, Kanye Tagbo Okeke, known as a great talent on the autism spectrum, to exhibit his work at the World Autism Awareness Day.

The collaboration with the UAE Red Crescent demonstrates additional values of The H Dubai, such as compassion, responsibility, and meaningful contribution.
More than 30 children were welcomed at the activation at Red Crescent Al Garhoud, as well as the representatives of Red Crescent and the team of H Dubai.
A creative, interactive activity of cookie decoration was organized with children creating sweet cookies together and spending time in a creative, laugh-filled environment.
To make the situation even happier, the H Dubai team presented the young participants with ideas of what to give them, making sure that every kid enjoys the event.
General Manager of the H Dubai, Yassin Mahmoud, states about the collaboration, “This activation with the UAE Red Crescent perfectly reflects our ethos at The H Dubai of bringing people together through compassion and shared responsibility. As we celebrate the Year of Community 2025, it is our privilege to contribute to initiatives that create joy, inclusivity, and a true sense of belonging for families.”
As part of the national theme, the Year of Community 2025, the event solidified the value of unity, inclusion, and compassion. The initiative created a common experience among the children, families, and the volunteers and is an example of the UAE vision of a society based on empathy, togetherness, and sharing responsibilities.
