Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has reported its strongest-ever first-half financial results, delivering AED 14.6 billion in revenue, AED 7.0 billion in EBITDA, and a net profit of AED 2.9 billion for the six months ended June 30, 2025.

The performance marked year-on-year increases of 6.9% in revenue, 5.3% in EBITDA, and 13.2% in net profit, driven by higher demand for electricity and water, steady growth in district cooling through subsidiary Empower, and improved operating efficiencies. Operating cash flow rose 61.3% to a record AED 9.2 billion.

“Our results reflect disciplined execution, growing demand, and our commitment to operational excellence,” said Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Vice Chairman and MD & CEO of DEWA. “Looking ahead, we expect consistent value creation for stakeholders, supported by Dubai’s economic growth, our robust business model, and sector-leading operational benchmarks.”

The utility approved an interim dividend of AED 3.1 billion for H1 2025, payable in October.
