The veteran actor, fondly known as the “He-Man” of Bollywood, had been battling health issues for some time. His last rites are currently underway at the Pawan Hans Cremation Centre, attended by family members, including his wife, veteran actress Hema Malini, and daughter Esha Deol, as seen in the glimpses on the internet.

Dharmendra had been admitted to the hospital earlier in November due to breathlessness, with several prominent actors checking on his health. He had briefly returned home after showing signs of recovery, and the family had earlier addressed false reports of his death on November 12, asking for privacy during the difficult time.
