The General Secretariat of the Khalifa Award for Education has confirmed the closing of nominations for the award’s 19th cycle for 2025–2026, which opened in July. The announcement of the winners is expected at the end of April.
This cycle covers 10 fields encompassing 17 categories.
Hamid Al Houti, Secretary-General of the award, said the wide response from the education sector at the local, Arab and international levels reflects the award’s distinguished standing.
He explained that, according to the approved schedule, specialised committees will begin the initial screening process immediately after nominations close. This will be followed by judging and evaluating qualified submissions based on the criteria established for each field and category.
Al Houti emphasised that all stages of the process are carried out with complete objectivity and transparency, in line with the award’s mission to foster excellence in education and academic fields.
The final phase will include field visits to selected educational and community institutions shortlisted for the last round, aiming to evaluate the real impact of the submitted projects and initiatives on both the education sector and the local community.
