Following his successful star-studded show at Dubai Fashion Week (DFW) in 2025, renowned Indian couturier Manish Malhotra is set to return as the closing designer for the Autumn/Winter 2026/27 season. The event runs from 1–6 February at Dubai Design District (d3), reinforcing Malhotra’s growing creative dialogue with the global fashion industry.
Malhotra’s AW25/26 show marked a milestone with the debut of the ‘World Collection: Dubai,’ blending India’s rich artisanal heritage with a modern, globally appealing design language. The collection received acclaim for its cultural depth, contemporary elegance, and relevance to the Middle Eastern market.
The finale featured international supermodels Adriana Lima and Valery Kaufman and celebrated 35 years of Malhotra’s legacy. It highlighted regionally inspired silhouettes, including sequined abayas, fluid kaftans, and sharply tailored pantsuits crafted for the Middle Eastern luxury consumer.
As the closing act for AW26/27, Malhotra’s return underscores his ongoing commitment to Dubai as a global fashion hub and a creative bridge between East and West. His upcoming presentation is expected to further expand the vision of his ‘World Collection: Dubai,’ emphasizing Indian craftsmanship, contemporary couture, and cross-cultural storytelling on an international scale.
