McLaren has celebrated three decades since its historic 1995 Le Mans victory with the launch of States of Endurance, a 3,867-mile road trip across eight U.S. states. The journey brought McLaren’s endurance racing heritage to life while showcasing its latest generation of supercars.

The journey featured three McLaren supercars—the 750S Coupe & Spider, and the Artura Spider—driven by McLaren professionals and Trophy drivers Paul Rees, Jack Barlow, and Oliver Webb. The convoy made “Pit Stop” visits at McLaren retailers from Monterey to Miami, engaging supercar enthusiasts and owners along the route.

“The States of Endurance journey is a perfect intersection of our endurance heritage with the cutting-edge engineering, technologies, and uncompromising standards that make our supercars capable of experiences that still resonate with the driver long after the journey ends,” said Henrik Wilhelmsmeyer, Chief Commercial Officer, McLaren Automotive.

The cars carried liveries symbolising the Dawn, Day, and Night phases of a 24-hour race, reinforcing McLaren’s endurance DNA and lightweight engineering. The trip eclipsed the distance typically covered by cars in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The road trip showcased the 750S Le Mans edition and the new Project: Endurance, previewing McLaren’s return to top-class endurance racing in 2027. Fans also met personalities, including 1995 Le Mans driver Justin Bell, ranchers, astronauts, and world-record athletes, each sharing their own stories of endurance.

Luxury travel brand TUMI partnered on the drive, providing luggage from its TUMI | McLaren Spring 2025 collection.

The next chapter for McLaren performance arrives with the forthcoming McLaren W1—the successor to the legendary F1 and P1—now completing its own endurance testing.
