The Middle East Sports Investment Forum, organized by the Ministry of Investment in collaboration with the Ministry of Sports, Sela Co., a subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund, and with the assistance of Invest in Saudi Arabia, completed the second day of activities at the Kingdom Arena with the announcement of a package of strategic investments and partnerships.
These projects can be seen as an indication of the fast development of the sports industry in Saudi Arabia and its growing appeal to both domestic and foreign investors.
The second day saw the declaration of several strategic agreements and alliances in different domains. One of the most notable was the introduction of specialized industrial investments into the production of sports stadium infrastructure components.
This will help in the process of localizing supply chains and increasing local content in the sports sector. The collaborations in the field of sports medicine were also announced during the forum.
These are meant to transfer the best medical practices, build up the health care provision to the athletes, and provide efficiency in the healthcare system to the sports sector in the Kingdom.

The cooperation in the sphere of temporary sports facilities and construction to assist the Kingdom in the organization of major sporting events and championships, and in raising the efficiency of the resilient infrastructure of the sphere, was also announced.
However, the partnerships also aim to invest in sport technology, such as digital solutions, performance analytics, and technological innovation, and grow sports marketing, help clubs and events, and create sports brands.
