H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Milojko Spajić, Prime Minister of Montenegro, in Podgorica on Wednesday to discuss strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation across key sectors.
Talks centered on enhancing partnerships in the economy, trade, investment, renewable energy, and food security, reflecting both nations’ shared priorities for sustainable growth.
Sheikh Abdullah reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to advancing ties with Montenegro and other Balkan countries, praising the steady progress achieved in joint projects and collaboration. He also conveyed his best wishes for continued development and prosperity to Montenegro and its people.
Prime Minister Spajić welcomed the UAE’s support and highlighted the opportunities for deepening cooperation, particularly in areas that can serve mutual economic and social interests.
The meeting was attended by Saeed Mubarak Rashid Al Hajeri, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Drug Establishment and Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Economic and Trade Affairs, along with several Montenegrin ministers and senior officials.
Sheikh Abdullah arrived in Podgorica earlier in the day on a working visit, where he was received by the Montenegrin Prime Minister.
